Since the untimely passing of Nigerian singer, Mohbad, one name has been mentioned frequently in direct connection to his death. Sam Larry is an aide to Naira Marley and since the controversies have risen, he has chosen to break his silence.

Let’s recall the Sam Larry had been silent since the news of Mohbad’s passing broke out. He even had to deactivate his account after the matter became more serious.

Sam Larry took to his platform to caution people against using his name for trending purposes. His message hints at wanting to disassociate himself from the controversy that have engulfed him since Mohbad’s death.

The accusations and speculations against Larry have been numerous. One of such revelations came from DJ Tuzo, who recounted an altercation involving Sam Larry, Zinoleesky, and himself.

According to DJ Tuzo, he was bullied and attacked by Larry and Zinoleesky for playing Seyi Vibez’s music in a club while Zinoleesky was present. This incident sparked outrage and added to the growing scrutiny surrounding Sam Larry’s actions.

Furthermore, a video showing Mohbad being harassed by Sam Larry, Naira Marley’s aide, made its way online. The disturbing video showed Mohbad in a wheelchair with Zlatan, another artist, as Larry hit him from behind. Zlatan’s intervention prevented the situation from escalating further, but the video left many in shock.

Adding even more suspicions to the situation, it was revealed that Mohbad had filed a petition against Larry before his untimely death. The petition, submitted to the Nigerian police in June 2023, detailed the harassment and assault that Mohbad had experienced on the set of a video shoot with Zlatan Ibile.
